Responsible for all strategic Ops projects across our Clients international regions (EMEA, APAC, & LAC). Within this structure, the position reports into the Equipment, Tech, & Format Design function. The type of projects will vary but tend to be of medium- to long-term focus, on one or more of these areas: franchisee profitability, restaurant efficiency, and guest experiences.
This position interacts with a wide range of individuals and teams including but not limited to restaurant team members, multi-unit managers, restaurant owners, equipment manufacturers, internal cross functional teams such as regional ops, tech, marketing, supply chain, development and the leadership team.

Responsibilities:
- Improves guest experiences, restaurant efficiency and franchisee profitability globally on a team responsible for sourcing, developing, testing, and step-change improvements of restaurant technologies for the system worldwide.
- Models, analyzes, & benchmarks current restaurant operations, equipment, & systems performance for improvement opportunities.
- Develops field operations tests for theories and conclusions arising from the data feedback on current operations, equipment, & systems.
- Defines restaurant of the future models leveraging on guests’ insights, industry trends, and latest technologies.
- Transforms internal & external voices of customers into solutions critical-to-quality’s and executable project plans.
- Tracks, evaluates, and capitalizes on the latest technologies on improving the restaurant guest and team member experiences.
- Drives the development and execution of roadmaps for digital transformation of restaurants in partnership with various internal & external stakeholders.
- Develops business case and ROI models for rollout of new and novel equipment & systems throughout the regions.
- Creates and manages global relationships with key equipment & systems partners.
- Advocates for our guests and restaurant crews experiences and the success of our franchisees.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering (industrial, systems, mechanical, mechatronics, automation, or similar)
- 2 to 4 years of prior work experience in engineering and engineering management in the food service or any manufacturing industry
- 2 to 4 years of prior work experience involving technical project management, continuous improvements, change management, digital transformation, product development (prototyping, testing, commercializing, etc.), and suppliers management
- Desired skills / experiences: lean transformation, artificial intelligence, computer vision, software systems, systems integrations, IoT & connected kitchen
- Prior experience working in start-ups / scale-ups
- Strong commercial acumen, bias for action, results-driven, and methodical.
- Strong interests in new technologies and improved ways of working.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Project related travel for approximately 4 cumulative weeks per year
