Prader Willi Syndrome Service
Foxrock, Dublin
Permanent Full-Time Term (39 Hour Contract)
Job Purpose
To promote the development of independent living skills, and to assist service users in their daily living within a supported accommodation service, ensuring their safety and well – being at all times.
Minimum Education & Skills required
- QQI Level 5 in Health & Social Care or an equivalent health care related qualification
- Full clean driving license
- Minimum 2 years previous experience of working with people with a disability.
- A clear understanding of the philosophy of independent living and community integration will be required to be demonstrated.
- Good communication skills and the ability to self-direct are also essential.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- To collate, assessment and intervention information and expertise for the purpose of developing an individualized community support service.
- To document information, update records, and complete necessary paperwork for communication and accountability purposes.
- To ensure all interaction with clients is approached with dignity, respect, equality and incorporates choice
Additional requirements
- A flexible shift system will operate
- A full, clean driving licence, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience is required.
